Yes i am a failure
I can't, I always try my hardest but i never can. I don't know why I never can but i am determined to do something about it. I will change...but i still wounder, Why Can't I Remember My Dreams?
Today i went to a Water Theme Park called Raging Waters. To be completely honest, i am sick of theme parks. I know that your inner 10 year old is screaming "What?!??!!" but I'm sorry I'm actually tired. Tomorrow i hopefully get to spend time with my friends which i haven't seen in a while...I didn't get a tan :(
So...yes that is a serious issue i face. I once suffered of mild insomnia but i never got checked up because I had already gotten a sleep test for another condition i had....I checked on the Inter-Web and i found out that things like snoring (which i usually do), late night allergies (which i suffer from), Uncomfortable sleeping positions (which i tend to have) and sudden awakenings (which i ALWAYS have) all lead to not being able to sleep correctly which leads to not being able to dream correctly.....WOW that F***ing sucks! I would love to be able to remember my dreams and be able to get inspirations from them. It's rare when i remember but when i do It's awesome cause i always tend to get inspired to draw or talk about my dream.
I also researched this thing called "Lucid Dreams" this is the ability to control your dreams and remember them completely. MY GOD that would be amazing. They say it takes a lot of practice to master it but it is an extraordinary experience. The first step to this is to be able to remember your dreams....wtf are you serious...so now that i am forced to experience this i am going to submit my self through test and such to reach a lucid dream stage. Steps like; keeping a dream journal, Doing certain things when i wake up, Interrupting my sleep at certain times during the night and submiting my self to listen to certain frequencies to indulge my brain in Brain Food...
I will begin today haha i will blog about the fail tomorrow
The title is related to the the blog but i added it to my immense list of song names i've come up with (yes i have a list). The picture was taken today when exiting the park...it reminds me of sleep for some reason....
So I'm off to practice, I supposedly gotta get a full 8 hours of sleep or some bull crap like that...all i need is like 3 and I'm good to go
Night
DUDE! Lucid dreaming is the BEST! I've only done it a few times and I didn't do much with it -- but I remember it being cool. So I didn't take full on advantage of the lucid dream but I was able to do the beginning steps of it. Controlling the dream once I realized I was dreaming. I know my brother is a whole lot more capable of it.
ReplyDeleteJust remembering your dreams, as you know, is the first step. What works for me is waking myself up early, maybe two hours early, and then standing up and getting back into bed to sleep again. That's when I can remember my dreams. In the morning, I might move a bit but if I have small glimpses of my dream, I have to get back into the same position I was sleeping in and then I can usually walk through my dream again or at least remember faces and people. I did that all throughout high school because I liked remembering dreams. I guess I should write them down sometime...
Anyways, best of luck to you! You've inspired me to try to do some lucid dreaming again. Also wishing you, above all, a good night's sleep.
