Warped Tour!!!

I don't know how to begin
Ok, so Warped Tour is a really big music festival throughout all US that brings a lot of bands together. This even is like any other band tour it's just it has no Headliner Band and its usually in really big open places with about 7 stages.

I decided to go...At first i wasn't that exited to go, i have grown apart from a lot of the bands that performed. I hardly ever listen to any hardcore music and i don't keep up with those genres of music as much as i used to. None the less, i'm glad i went...

The day started by picking everyone up and driving all the way to Carson (about 1 1/2 hours away). In our posse, it was Sixta,
Crystal, Teresa, and I. When we got to Carson we were starving so we stopped at a Jack in the Box and ate breakfast. After that we spent a good 20 minutes looking for a parking spot outside of the stadium because a parking in there was a whooping $20....So we just parked in a
neighborhood and walked to the event haha. There we were shocked by what seemed to be the crazy long lines to enter, we were not going to wait all that so with our amazing wits we just cut the line and got split into lines of males and females. I managed to get in first so instead of waiting for the girls i just went straight to the huge inflatable set list they had, it said what bands where playing at what times and at what stages. We met up and got a program, we then stayed where we were and watched Motion City Soundtrack. This band was really chill, i know a couple of their songs and the energy in stage got really crazy especially after they played a couple of their old songs. Shortly after we walked around collecting posters, stickers and such. We all got a free tattoo at the Active, and wondered around the other tents checking out where everything was at. While doing that we listened to The Dillinger Escape Plan, even though we didn't stay there for long these guys we pretty crazy i gotta admit. I've always enjoyed their music but their presence in stage was just whack...pretty crazy.

We continued to walk around and ended up stopping at the Closure in Moscow tent (one of my fav. bands of all time) and meeting Manny, (the rhythm guitarist and second vocalist, pic to the right) this guy was super kool. We talked with him got pictures and posters with autographs. We kicked it with him for a while and talked about random
things. Berrett the guitarist of the band also stopped by and we got his autograph and picture. Manny was really kool, he was actually enjoying the fact that we were there unlike other artist that say hi, take a picture and say "next", treating fans like a job or duty...We then headed off to see In Fear and Faith (pic under) a band that i'm a good fan of...This band is pretty hardcore, mixing screaming with high pitched clean vocals and dropping rhythms and leads in perfect places to make those moments in the song where ypu just go "Yeeeeeeaaaaa" haha. This band has talent, but it was not there yesterday. Well i take that back the whole band played a good show, everyone enjoyed it and for being the first time being in stage for a really long time and first time playing certain songs live...i give them props, it was just the clean vocals that killed it for me. He was singing to high compared to the voice i was used to, i understand everything is different live but i felt like this guy didn't remember how his own songs went. He was straining his voice and when it came back down it actually sounded better, but he just ignored that and kept singing high. Excluding that the show was really fun especially the pit, jumping around and singing to those catchy lyrics haha.

After that we watched Pierce The Veil and i must admit, I've seen them twice and both times they have not disappointed me...Yesterday they got the crowd crazy in seconds, (probably 'cause of their good looks lol) and played an amazing show. It was really entertaining especially when they gave a hip-hop track a hardcore feel and lifted up their guitars over their heads and each one had a word on it and it ultimately said "get fucking low" hahaha they brought the guitars back down and thats exactly what the crowd did, they got low haha. After that we watched You Me At Six then headed over and watched Enter Shikari....Those guys were crazy. They dropped them crazy Synth beats and climbed on practically everything, one of them even balanced a guitar on his mouth. These guys were pretty kool. Once they were done me and Teresa rushed in the crowd to get close to the Stage. We were in there for Alesana (pic bottom right) one of my childhood bands and the staircase that led me to liking a lot of these crazier bands. This show got a little rowdy, but it was fun. They played old and new songs, and satisfied everyone. In the midst of that mess Crystal showed up behind us and we continued to go crazy. When the last song came (Apology) it was planned that me and Teresa were going to crowd surf out of there but once the song started i lost her and i just asked so big guy next to me to push up and there i was...On top of everyone, my ass on their faces flipping and singing. I got caught by the security and i exited the stage with a smile on my face haha. We then reunited and went to go meet up with Manny again so me and Sixta could buy a shirt from them. Sixta bought Manny's favorite and me and Crystal bought the same one. We then hung out with him and talked some more. We learned a couple Australian words like "Grouse" meaning; Cool or Awesome. We talked about how unique heir band was and we made
a bet that if he didn't remember our names by August when we come back, he would give us all a free shirt haha. Then he gave me a book he was reading, "You Are a Spiritual Being Having Human Experience" so that i could read over the summer and bring back to him next time. I think that is flipping thight! The book is really complex and like he said "It's a Hard Read" but I'm determined to read it and bring it back to him. He then had to go warm up and we stole some poster while we listened to Emarosa. Once they were finished we got to the front of the stage and waited for them. They came into stage and Chris the main singer was wearing tights, a shinny pink hoodie and lipstick with crazy eyeshadow...yeea haha it was a little disturbing but really funny. These are they guys that dressed up as Christmas characters for one of their previous shows so i wasn't surprised. The show was REALLY good and the they played amazing. The crowed pissed me off. They didn't even bother to move. It seemed like the only people enjoying
the show were us four and some other fool in the front freaking out like me haha. The show was also short because the Audio Kit used in the stage broke so Emarosa had to use their own and them setting up took time off their set and it also shortened Closure's set as well giving the fact that they had to set up their own kit as well. None the less the show was amazing and i got to meet the rest of the band members afterwards except the drummer which i had seen around earlier). After that the day was practically over for us. We went and saw a couple more bands and ended it with The All American Rejects.

We left that place and headed home. We followed Crystal's
directions to a Fast Food Paradise only to get lost with both smart phones on the verge of Death!!! Haha but thanks to her we had hilarious moments, and we ended up practically eating the entire menu at Taco Bell haha. WE then left and finally got on track to our house. We talked, screamed and listened to music. We spit up all the things that we had obtained over the day (like the random condoms haha), and started dropping off people. Me being the last one dropped off, I said by to Sixta, entered my house and began my eternal slumber to finalize the day...

The day was another one of those days i will never forget, We watched
a lot more bands than what i mentioned its just i'm too lazy to talk about them all...some like NeverShoutNever, Streetlight Manifesto, Eyes Set to Kill, Suicide Silence, and a couple others...all the ones we missed i will see next time haha. OH and i skank'ed with Sixta (pic right) haha it was sick (Skainking is a toe of dancing to Ska music)

So here are other pics enjoy and i'm out

California Hugs

Haha what a day...

At first i thought today was going to drag on and be boring but it was the complete opposite. Our family today decided to go somewhere....they didn't know where to go, so we just went to go eat at my dad's favorite Mexican restaurant El Torrito. The time there was fun, i stuffed some "flautas" and got a free ice cream :)
After that we just drove ad drove and drove...I was tired but in the back seat of the car there was 3 other people sitting with me which made it impossible to fall asleep. My legs were folded and crammed up. I didn't complain i just sat and twisted my body in different ways to look for a comfortable position to sleep in. Time passed by and we showed up at Venice Beach! haha i love this place, full of true Californians and lots of art, music and complete randomness. We walked down the path by the shore where all the stores are, we checked out a couple things, took pictures, and laughed at all the weird things that we saw. It was a little awkward being there with my family especially when they were asking me how the whole "medical marijuana" business worked. I don't know it just didn't feel right haha. While we were walking down we saw a really kool wall and i just HAD to take a picture of it. Its some really kool art work and i love all the characters, it gives the street a personality.

After Venice Beach we headed over to Santa Monica Pier where we took some amazing pictures of the sunset and of the water. We walked a little and went on the actual Pier. Here i was shocked to see a guy holding up a sign that said free hugs. It's not that i have never seen this before, it's just i actually had a chance at doing it. None the less I walked off without my hug. I felt like i kinda betrayed myself but it was ok. We walked a little further and we took some kool pictures and looked at other kool stuff. After we filled our souls with entertaining memories we decided to head back. On our way back i saw the same sign, tempting me to do something about it...but this time, it was a girl holding it. To be honest i feel way more comfortable hugging a woman than a man. So i went for it...I got my hug, i got to sign her poster and i walked off with a smile on my face, all the way to the car, knowing i did something different and meaningful.

The car ride back was just as painful as the ride there. To be honest my back hurts a lot and i got scared when my leg fell asleep and i couldn't lift it up...haha idk it was crazy

Other than having an awesome day today, i found out I'm going to have an even awesome-er day tomorrow haha I'm going to Disneyland again but this time with 3 very special people haha I'm really exited.
That's about it for today, im going to bed because i have to wake up early tomorrow soooo

The Happiest Place in Cali!

Soo sorry about the late-ness of my blog but its just i was too tired yesterday, but i promised i would do it today haha even though i rather be taking a shower -_-"

So the morning was simple, i woke up and showered, ate breakfast and waited for about an hour an a half for everyone else to finish getting ready. We hit the road and set off on our adventure!!

In Morning and Amazing...
I started by playing an old play list i had on my i-pod that had Circa Survive, Dance Gavin Dance, Closure in Moscow and ummm thats about it. The first song that played was "In Morning and Amazing" by Circa Survive (awesome song) it reminded my of Bamboozle a couple months ago. Then from there i listened to Dance Gavin Dance and had to listen to the song "Skyhook" After a couple more Circa Songs i landed on Closure and listened to their cover of "Pony" (which i talked about in another blog) and that really did bring a smile to my face, that song always does! Before i knew it i was at Dland!!!

Skyhook
Once we got there i began enjoying every minute of my time there, i LOVE the smell of Disneyland (idk its weird). Every single ride and area has its own smell and feeling haha but we started with the best. Tomorrowland!!! haha there we got fastpasses for Space Mountain and rode AstroBlasters, (which i owned at) and then rode Star Tour. I really love Star Tours, its one of those rides that lets you know your still a kid and idk the whole adventure and excitement always leaves me wanting for more.

I rode Nemo's Underwater Voyage for the first time and i REALLY liked it haha it was really fun i don't know how, it just was.

From there we went to Peter Pan i believe, and rode that, (there are plants in the ride that have 7 leaves O_o" if you know what that means...crazyyyy) Afterward we got fastpasses for Indiana Jones and ran to ride Space Mountain!!!! Man ! what a ride!!!! that has to be one of my favorites, we rode in front and it felt like i was going UBERfast. My hairs was going crazy haha. That ride left me like...shocked haha i missed it...

Pony
We decided to eat outside of the park because we don't want to spend a lot of money inside so we hit up MickeyD's (McDonalds). There i was starving but...i just got two McChicken's with a small drink, i didn't want to waste money either lol...After we ate we headed back and rode a lot of things...too many i can't even remember...We rode Its a small world...i fell asleep, We rode Haunted Mansion and umm sorry...i fell asleep haha, i love both rides i was just tired...We rode Pirates that was fun and same with Thunder Mountain.

After riding Indiana Jones we slowed down and decided to wait for Fantasmic (fireworks/water show). There we told jokes and just kicked it until the thing began. We got to see the Fantasmic Crew Members organizing and making a plan and such for the event. I thought it was pretty funny haha.

Sweet#Hart
When he show began i had already seen it before so I thought i wasn't going to be memorized like the rest of my family but i was. That show was sublime, I loved it sooo much i want to go see it again. Thanks to that show i realized i LOVE Peter Pan idk why or how he is just a BAMF i think hes my new fav. Disney Character...crazyyyy

After that show was done we took a bathroom break and watched the other fireworks show which was kool but not as amazing as the 50th Anniversary one...that one is HxC!!(hardcore) haha After that we left the park, we were all tired and my nose couldn't take anymore of the amazing Disneyland Smells lol

The ride back was silent, my phone was dying so i couldn't listen to music :(

Other than that the whole day was truly amazing, can't wait till i come back, hopefully with a couple of my friends so we can do some dumb crap haha

The pics are all pretty bad sorry i didn't have time to stop and take really good ones so excuse me for that
talk to u guys later

A Day Full of Summer

ok so yesterday I went to Knotts Berry Farm! haha yay!

At first i wasn't so exited to go, I have been there like a gazillion times and the park it self doesn't interest me much. As the day started i soon changed my mind haha. So the car ride was pretty ghey but once we got to the parking lot i soon realized this was going to be a fun day. When we arrived there i saw this bus! its the "Bustache" A bus with a MUSTACHE! holy crap i thought that was amazing. The bus was a local radio station's little transportation device. To be honest i would love to ride on one of those. Actually i would love to own one of those lol

When we got in the park it was filled with underage scene girls, teachers and socially awkward boys (i can't say much I'm pretty awkward) Yeea it was one of those days. The park was filled with school trips and summer camp people...But to be honest they weren't much of a bother they were all pretty chill. We rode some rides and my cousins actually rode them, i would think they would be scared of the bigger ones but they rode them all with no hint of complaint. I thought that was super chill.

After we We were waiting for my sister to get out of the rapids because not many of us wanted to get wet, and i realized something...I LOVE when people step out of the rapids thing and act like they got soaked with acid or something! They act like the water is Ooze and it is stuck to them. They extend their arm and look down at their body and start peeling the clothing off their body like it burnt giving a couple "Awww" and they have a couple gag reflexes...Jesus its water. Calm down witch!

After i ate at Panda Express, we went to go ride a ride called Pony Express its a ride that your seat is in shape of a pony and you ride it like a horse. In line they had the seats outside so people can check if they feel comfortable with then ride's style and when i saw the seat i started busting up laughing and singing "Pony" by Ginuwine (if you haven't heard it click here and click here for a kool cover of it by one of my fav. bands lol) Lol when i got on it and took a picture (that's me riding my pony lol) i realized the people behind me in line were laughing their asses off because of what i was singing. They ended up taking a picture too haha (WIN)

The day ended pretty smoothly, we left the park, check out the stores, and went to In&Out (yes I'm a fatass)

When i got home like at 11 we invited some friends over and kicked it in my house, we noticed my house was boring so we went to Jack in the Box and then went to a park at night just to chill but my sister was scared so we had to take her back home...after i played two games of CoD with them we went to my friend crystal's house and kicked it there until about 3am when we headed back home and i finally got some sleep haha

now I'm getting ready for church and i think im going to be late, oh well

talk to you guys later
