Ever Dance Of The Winter

Sorry for posting yesterdays post today morning, its just i was with my friends all night yesterday and my day hadn't ended yet so i felt as if i couldn't blog about the day until i finished my day...ill explain

Today was pretty awesome, Recapping on the previous blog, I attempted to Lucid Dream but i wasn't successful. I understand its not a one shot thing so i followed the advice Maggie May (i believe that's your name, sorry if its not haha) gave me in a comment on my previous post. She told me that interrupting her sleep worked for her and i thought i wasn't going to be interrupted because i didn't set up any alarms but i actually woke up about for times and i was able to remember 4 dreams :)))) I know it's not lucid dreaming but it a big step for me because i have never been able to do that. I thought writing them down after dreaming them was going to be a hassle but it was pretty simple, and every time i read what i wrote i remember the dream vividly. I'm really exited for this, I wasn't able to remember any dreams this time (last nights (its morning right now)) because i wasn't at my own house so i couldn't really do it...ill Explain...

So today (yesterday), was really fun. I woke up late and with all these notes explaining my dreams. I also woke up to see what i had drawn the past night out of pure boredom which I'm somewhat proud of...a lot cleaner than my usual drawings. The afternoon was spent slow and lazy, I made some pancakes for me and my sister and from there i went upstairs to record the song i made a couple days ago again, I took a nap, Listened to This Town Needs Guns, Foals, and Look Mexico. The day started to go and i finally found something to do. At around 8 i got picked up by my friend Crystal and her mom to go to their house. After stopping at the store to buy burger patties and such we got bribed by some dude to go buy yogurt flavored DOTS...i truly hate dots but this guy gave us a dollar so we could buy them. They weren't that bad i guess...At the house we ate burgers and hot dogs and kicked back for a while up until so other friends came and we played video games and talked and joked around.

At about 2:30 for some odd reason we decided to leave the house and go to Wall-Mart and go buy foam swords so we can duel each other O_o"....To be honest i don't even know why we did this, it was completely random. So we go in the car all 5 of us and headed to the store while we busted some Red Hot Chili Peppers had sang to it. When we got there we realized that they had no toy foam swords?! Only 15 dollar ones! it was ridiculous, the expensive ones were awesome and we had a little duel at one of the aisles until we were abruptly interrupted by a worker. It as funny to see 5 rather grown up teens messing around like this (i say "rather grown up" because were still all kids haha). After not finding what we wanted we tried getting a board game but we couldn't decide soo we left and got breakfast at Jack in the Box haha that was something everyone decided on, even though Crystal's sister was falling asleep. We all got something (except her) and headed back home. When we got to the room everyone when to separate places to do different things and i was left alone with Ariana (crystal's sis, I've said this like 10 times already) so i decided to take a bite out of everyone's meal including mine and wrap them back up...It was hilarious how we all tried to figure out who it was, we were blaming each other but no one found out it was me :) After that we played Monopoly in teams (Me and Crystal, V.S. Joel and Danny) Me and Crystal are masters at this game...At first i though we were losing but when Danny stepped in all the wrong places it was just a matter of time and they couldn't pay what they owed us. Danny couldn't even pay, taxes or the rent of a street that was worth $22, he only had 7 dollars.

After we destroyed them we headed to sleep, and realized the sun was out and it was 6 in the morning....yeeea i haven't slept haha

The picture is just a kool picture i took of my printer's ink cartridge. I'm not sure why it attracted me it just did.

So I'm off, Happy Fathers Day and thanks Maggie May for the advice :)

So Lets Get Out of Here

Oh My, My...

I made an amazing discovery haha...but before that...

Today i went to Disney California Adventure, The other park next to Disneyland haha. We have a three day visit pass and this was our second visit so ill be blogging about that when the day happens.
I love this park it always brings back great memories especially of those i shared almost an exact year from today haha. Last year I went with my friend Andres and his sis and it was loads of fun...Today was also chill, we rode a lot of rides like; Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, California Screaming, Soaring Over California, and a couple more. We didn't get to ride one called Mahulland Madness which is one of my favorites because the park closed at 6!! Which is ridiculous!! But whatevers, its chill...up around 5 when i rode the rapids i tuned my I-pod to "This Town Needs Guns" (to their self titled album) which is a band that I've been trying to get into for a while now, and for a good 3 hours i zoned out...their music completely hypnotized me, i was in a spell of continuous folk guitar picking with complicated but simple rhythms and amazing off beat accents. My God! i could not stop listening to them (I'm doing so right now) not sure why i was just in love with the calm music and sublime lyrics that were so SIMPLE!!! They made song lyrics out of a simple poem but each phrase pierced and stung like bullet. I advice everyone to go ahead and check them out. My favorite song so far is "Its True Rufus, Don't Listen To The Hat" I adore the way he sings the lyrics and the whole song because it ranges from smooth to rough in seconds.
I still have to get into their second album but I first gotta get over this one haha.

Today i also got to draw in Disney, There is a place where they teach you how to draw Disney characters. I drew Pooh and Piglet. The Pooh came out FAT but Piglet came out better. After this I kinda realized i hadn't been loyal to the whole "art" part of the Blog which was the sol purpose of it haha. So starting probably next, next week I'll continue with my art, It's just that i have family over and all we have done is jump from Theme Park to Theme Park...soo ill come back to that later on this month.

Oh i recorded a song today, it's SUPER rough and Sketchy...A Lot of the tracks go off beat and the volumes and starts are a little off but i still made it into an MP3 just to have it and to be inspired to work on it. The song sounds like This Town Needs Guns and Look Mexico, I have no lyrics for it because is more like an Intro or a Filler Song...so if i fix it ill show it to you guys :)
Oh Congrats Lakers haha

Certain, Curtain, Same Thing

haha

So I've noticed (thanks to people pointing it out) that i am very bad at my spelling and grammar. I try my best to review and proof read my post but i always miss a couple words, especially when spelling check gives me the wrong words!!! Whatever

Today was spend cheating on tests and sleeping mostly. I Hate days when i stay home
(which are rare) so i decided to leave my house and go to a girl's basketball team practice at a nearby park. To be honest i didn't spend much time there, i just left to the stores around the area like the Dollar Tree and looked at all those irresistible prices haha

After listening to The Fall of Troy (which i hadn't listened to in ages) I started trying to record my music and such but i somewhat failed, I'm too much of a perfectionist when it comes to music. But throughout that process i was thinking of music truly has the power to change people and completely invite someone into the artist's life without even meeting them.
After that i stopped to listen to City and Colour, which I've heard many times before but it wasn't until today that i actually fell in LOVE with his music, It is so simple yet so descriptive and deep, idk i can tell I'm going to be talking about this all next week haha same with Look Mexico They've been helping me chill and just find inner peace for the past three weeks.

Sorry i wish this post was a lot more detailed and appealing but I truly have nothing to say, I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a good day so expect something more interesting tomorrow (i hope) haha

The picture is from my toy animal picture collection haha this one is not an actual animal more like a dinosaur, but according to a very special friend of mine, all living organism that are non-human are animals (plants included, and I'm guessing dinosaurs as well)

So that's it for now, I'm out
(cereal time!)

Sticky Keys

"...a story, is not a story until you've made it up, you see?"

Today went by smooth, school was a breeze and home was relaxing. I went to a friends house in the afternoon to go meet up with someone else and jam and play some music...we started like that but we got distracted and decited to skate to Alberto's and we got some food after a Fail game of "Skate" (well i was the fail lol) we came back to realize me and Oscar somewhat share the same desire to play acoustically...after a sick ass jam session with one of his songs it was somewhat set that we are now going to work on this soft stuff. In my opinion it sounds a lot easier and more laid back than what we originally started with, After going through one of his songs (he writes sickass music...sounds like City and Colour) i had to head home but after a car ride listening to Look Mexico i got here to write a brand new acoustic song (not finished) with lyrics included which is usually my most demanding part of the song...i feel accomplished and pretty existed, ill see how this turns out..........

The picture was taken by a very special friend of mine who has an amazing photographic skill and she also as a talent to spot out very unique things in places not seen...its kinda like this flower, It was planted for a reason and everyone expected to turn out a curtain way...curtain color, curtain shape...but the flower was still unique and unpredictable, even though it reached everyone's expectations I'm sure it was neglected after that but people like my friend here spot this and reward the flower with unparalleled attention, something it was once looking for...maybe my friend sees it this way or maybe she just saw a cute flower and took a picture of it just to fill her heart with something new...who knows, either way its an amazing picture

The line under the title is a line from the song "You Come Into My House, While I Sleep?" by Look Mexico..its a pretty chill song
And the title is Sticky Keys because while i was thinking of a title for this blog i was holding down the "Shift" key to make the first letter capitalized but the Sticky Keys message popped up in the screen of my computer and i decided to "stick" with that (get it?)

Alright I'm off...

I Forgot How My House Smells

...and i also forgot how bad my room reeks haha

From a somewhat chaotic day to a more relaxed chill day, i feel like the weekend has come to an end but i still have one more day because tomorrow is memorial day so thats something to look forward too.
I spent the three days of this glorious four day weekend with crystal, her family and some friends along the way, it was a good way to get my mind off all the school thoughts that have been racing through my mind lately. To be honest i feel no pressure or stress when in school its almost like something I'm required to do so i can actually start the day once the last bell rings. Even though i am dedicated to continue to an art school or such i still find my self thinking of high school as a chore with a lot of annoying people haha (sorry guys, my bad [that's a S.A. song but its "dudes" instead of guys])
Today was rather fun after a small inconvenience we had in the morning but after a serving of French Toasts i jumped into the adventure ahead....
The day ended up at some place called "Toms Farm" which is 15 minutes away from the town I live in. I had never been there but it was lots of fun. I bought a new bottle to add to my collection and this one was my favorite.

It was a soda with The Hammer and Sickle from the Soviet Union with lots of communist party jokes like the label on the top that said "Join The Party!" and others like that
Being history related (fav. Subject) and being deliciously tasting it is now one of my favorite drinks haha

Now I'm just listening to Look Mexico and playing Minus the Bear songs on my guitar while i think of nothing really haha just waiting for a text and thinking of a person out there that keeps me in the edge of my seat and always warm...something worth looking foward to haha
for now I'm out (Sixta)

talk to you later
