Warped Tour!!!

I don't know how to begin
Ok, so Warped Tour is a really big music festival throughout all US that brings a lot of bands together. This even is like any other band tour it's just it has no Headliner Band and its usually in really big open places with about 7 stages.

I decided to go...At first i wasn't that exited to go, i have grown apart from a lot of the bands that performed. I hardly ever listen to any hardcore music and i don't keep up with those genres of music as much as i used to. None the less, i'm glad i went...

The day started by picking everyone up and driving all the way to Carson (about 1 1/2 hours away). In our posse, it was Sixta,
Crystal, Teresa, and I. When we got to Carson we were starving so we stopped at a Jack in the Box and ate breakfast. After that we spent a good 20 minutes looking for a parking spot outside of the stadium because a parking in there was a whooping $20....So we just parked in a
neighborhood and walked to the event haha. There we were shocked by what seemed to be the crazy long lines to enter, we were not going to wait all that so with our amazing wits we just cut the line and got split into lines of males and females. I managed to get in first so instead of waiting for the girls i just went straight to the huge inflatable set list they had, it said what bands where playing at what times and at what stages. We met up and got a program, we then stayed where we were and watched Motion City Soundtrack. This band was really chill, i know a couple of their songs and the energy in stage got really crazy especially after they played a couple of their old songs. Shortly after we walked around collecting posters, stickers and such. We all got a free tattoo at the Active, and wondered around the other tents checking out where everything was at. While doing that we listened to The Dillinger Escape Plan, even though we didn't stay there for long these guys we pretty crazy i gotta admit. I've always enjoyed their music but their presence in stage was just whack...pretty crazy.

We continued to walk around and ended up stopping at the Closure in Moscow tent (one of my fav. bands of all time) and meeting Manny, (the rhythm guitarist and second vocalist, pic to the right) this guy was super kool. We talked with him got pictures and posters with autographs. We kicked it with him for a while and talked about random
things. Berrett the guitarist of the band also stopped by and we got his autograph and picture. Manny was really kool, he was actually enjoying the fact that we were there unlike other artist that say hi, take a picture and say "next", treating fans like a job or duty...We then headed off to see In Fear and Faith (pic under) a band that i'm a good fan of...This band is pretty hardcore, mixing screaming with high pitched clean vocals and dropping rhythms and leads in perfect places to make those moments in the song where ypu just go "Yeeeeeeaaaaa" haha. This band has talent, but it was not there yesterday. Well i take that back the whole band played a good show, everyone enjoyed it and for being the first time being in stage for a really long time and first time playing certain songs live...i give them props, it was just the clean vocals that killed it for me. He was singing to high compared to the voice i was used to, i understand everything is different live but i felt like this guy didn't remember how his own songs went. He was straining his voice and when it came back down it actually sounded better, but he just ignored that and kept singing high. Excluding that the show was really fun especially the pit, jumping around and singing to those catchy lyrics haha.

After that we watched Pierce The Veil and i must admit, I've seen them twice and both times they have not disappointed me...Yesterday they got the crowd crazy in seconds, (probably 'cause of their good looks lol) and played an amazing show. It was really entertaining especially when they gave a hip-hop track a hardcore feel and lifted up their guitars over their heads and each one had a word on it and it ultimately said "get fucking low" hahaha they brought the guitars back down and thats exactly what the crowd did, they got low haha. After that we watched You Me At Six then headed over and watched Enter Shikari....Those guys were crazy. They dropped them crazy Synth beats and climbed on practically everything, one of them even balanced a guitar on his mouth. These guys were pretty kool. Once they were done me and Teresa rushed in the crowd to get close to the Stage. We were in there for Alesana (pic bottom right) one of my childhood bands and the staircase that led me to liking a lot of these crazier bands. This show got a little rowdy, but it was fun. They played old and new songs, and satisfied everyone. In the midst of that mess Crystal showed up behind us and we continued to go crazy. When the last song came (Apology) it was planned that me and Teresa were going to crowd surf out of there but once the song started i lost her and i just asked so big guy next to me to push up and there i was...On top of everyone, my ass on their faces flipping and singing. I got caught by the security and i exited the stage with a smile on my face haha. We then reunited and went to go meet up with Manny again so me and Sixta could buy a shirt from them. Sixta bought Manny's favorite and me and Crystal bought the same one. We then hung out with him and talked some more. We learned a couple Australian words like "Grouse" meaning; Cool or Awesome. We talked about how unique heir band was and we made
a bet that if he didn't remember our names by August when we come back, he would give us all a free shirt haha. Then he gave me a book he was reading, "You Are a Spiritual Being Having Human Experience" so that i could read over the summer and bring back to him next time. I think that is flipping thight! The book is really complex and like he said "It's a Hard Read" but I'm determined to read it and bring it back to him. He then had to go warm up and we stole some poster while we listened to Emarosa. Once they were finished we got to the front of the stage and waited for them. They came into stage and Chris the main singer was wearing tights, a shinny pink hoodie and lipstick with crazy eyeshadow...yeea haha it was a little disturbing but really funny. These are they guys that dressed up as Christmas characters for one of their previous shows so i wasn't surprised. The show was REALLY good and the they played amazing. The crowed pissed me off. They didn't even bother to move. It seemed like the only people enjoying
the show were us four and some other fool in the front freaking out like me haha. The show was also short because the Audio Kit used in the stage broke so Emarosa had to use their own and them setting up took time off their set and it also shortened Closure's set as well giving the fact that they had to set up their own kit as well. None the less the show was amazing and i got to meet the rest of the band members afterwards except the drummer which i had seen around earlier). After that the day was practically over for us. We went and saw a couple more bands and ended it with The All American Rejects.

We left that place and headed home. We followed Crystal's
directions to a Fast Food Paradise only to get lost with both smart phones on the verge of Death!!! Haha but thanks to her we had hilarious moments, and we ended up practically eating the entire menu at Taco Bell haha. WE then left and finally got on track to our house. We talked, screamed and listened to music. We spit up all the things that we had obtained over the day (like the random condoms haha), and started dropping off people. Me being the last one dropped off, I said by to Sixta, entered my house and began my eternal slumber to finalize the day...

The day was another one of those days i will never forget, We watched
a lot more bands than what i mentioned its just i'm too lazy to talk about them all...some like NeverShoutNever, Streetlight Manifesto, Eyes Set to Kill, Suicide Silence, and a couple others...all the ones we missed i will see next time haha. OH and i skank'ed with Sixta (pic right) haha it was sick (Skainking is a toe of dancing to Ska music)

So here are other pics enjoy and i'm out

I'll Do It...Tomorrow

haha i actually have things to talk about today :) i just got home and everyone is asleep because we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow but im up for some blogging...sitting here in front of the screen, i-pod in ear and willing.

So today i got a chance to hang out with one of my main nighas Andres! We usually just kick it and have lots of fun in weird ways and today wasn't any different. When i got to his house we jammed then we got picked up to go to his Fiance's house (Ana) which i had only met her once and it was a simple hello...We got picked up by his friend Albert which is super kool and we headed to Romoland where she lives.

Once there i gotta admit i was a little iffy about being there cause this was technically my first time meeting her and i was going to meet her family aswell?! Oh and to top it off Albert and Andres were warning me of her younger brother that was crazy...yeeeea. Once inside i felt a little awkward but i quickly felt at home well at least at Andrews house...I felt chill and i was easily able to talk to her mom which is a really kool lady, and very funny haha. Inside we talked about a couple things but they mostly talked about their friends which i don't know but i just listened and payed close attention. It was all pretty funny and interesting, their opinions, thoughts and feeling toward those they love haha. Andrew had a moment where he explained to Ana's mom how he loved her for who she was and not for the outside features. This was a rather hilarious conversation but it made me think a lot.

To be honest (and sorry) when i first heard that he was getting married and he told me i was a little Iffy about the whole situation. I though of how young they both are and how they are both so open for opportunities. But after thinking through i accepted it and i was really happy. I knew Andres isn't doing this just to get married, he is doing it because they truly love each other and that's something rare and wonderful.

After the visit we headed home and we talked about working and education. At that time i started thinking of myself and how I'm determined to go somewhere (collage wise) and study but there are so many variables that could change that. I love art in all aspects; Music, Art, Design, Writing, etc. I love it all, and even though i focus on art and music i still feel like I'm not doing what i should to be preparing for a life as an artist. I'm a procrastinator, and i am a minimalist in both ways (tnx for the word andrew) I always in art try to keep everything simple and minimal to make it unique but I'm also a minimalist in the way that i do the minimum requirement for everything...Nothing pushes me, nothing truly excites me, I always think negative but keep a positive attitude, "I'm A Wishful Thinker, With The Worst Intentions" and "I'm "So Good At Setting Bad Examples" (both lines from songs of Taking Back Sunday)...If you have met me in real life you would understand a lot more, I'm always relaxed, No Worries, and always laid back...nothing bothers me....so that's why the future of my education is in risk hahaha, but it's nothing to worry about.

Through out the day today i heard two Lines of Two different Songs that gave me the CHILLS, those that start at your toes and finish at your ears...yeeea crazzyyyy

"You can have my keys, my guitars if u just let me have the key to your heart" - The voice in the song completed the awesomeness of the verse

"I'm a bill you pay, I'm a contract you can't break, And it's like I'm under water, or on an endless escalator, I just go up and up, but I don't ever reach the top" - Damn what a line haha that one was crazy

The first picture is my nigga andrew and his fiance, and the second one is a flower a very special friend made for me out of play-dough i believe haha. I really like the picture and the flower haha

So I'm Off to sleep i need some,

Pockets Full of Trash

Soooo Today! (i actually have things to talk about)

Same crap, school, finals, Owned the Spanish one, Passed history and had fun being bored.

The day started after school when two of my very special friends came over. They both kept me from being bored and one of them helped me wash my dog. YAY! After that i took a quick shower and we agreed on them two dropping me off at a nearby park so i could meet up with some other special someone.
At the park, I spent the time there talking and just having fun and such. The conversations were fun and humorous but as time went on we talked more of what is going on now a days and from there many things arose. I would like to say the word Obstacles but that sounds horrible and somewhat blunt. So i refer to the situation as a split road haha (much better).

In life we always encounter things like these, some are more serious than others but they always require someone making a decision, and that's the hard part. It's kinda like, you don't want to lose something but you don't want to miss out on the other thing. Sometimes its more of, You know what you want, its just it'd be right if you picked the other choice. I always say "Do What You Truly Want, Not What You Think Is Right" I would have loved to say that today, but its not like that, because both things are possible and good decisions it's just you risk loosing something in both sides of the road. It's somewhat like that one red hooded lady gurl thing, If she chose the right side she would get to the house safe but maybe not in time, if she chose the one on the left she would get to the house faster but she was in danger of being attacked by some creepyass wolf.

In the end its absolutely not up to me, as much as i would like to just make a choice (which i still haven't chosen) i cant. It's not my turn. Like anyone else would, I would love to cut to the front of the line and demand my food, but i can't cut the people, and I'm not the one paying so i can't be ordering my own food. You guys get me? (man I'm such a fatass, I make an issue into a metaphor relating food haha lol)

Well i hope this was a little more interesting than the others, i kinda feel like not many people are reading these things but who knows...

The image is a picture i took with an app of my phone, it always reminds me of those times when you stare at the roof and just think for hours, sorry i feel as if my pictures haven't been as "A" material as the ones started with, i haven't been taking many pictures so forgive me

Alright then I'm out

On Letting Go...

Well i had planned talking about my day like usual but after reading my friends blog post it made me think of a bunch of things, like no joke. (link here its called ADHD)

So back in the day we were just kids, because we would think like adults but dream like kids and not much has changed since then. Now a days I'm stuck "On Letting Go" that's a place where you decide you gotta let go of things but you just cant (its also a album name of Circa Survive), I feel like i have to let go of those fake hopes and dreams so i can fool those that don't know me into believing that I'm not just a kid, but the truth is the only one I'm fooling is myself. Do i really need to let go of all those dreams and hopes i once had and shared with the closest of friends? Now that I've read my friend Andres' post (one of the kids i shared my hopes with), i realize that i don't...i don't have to let go of what i had and fought for. Even though people are changing, the hill is getting steeper and these walls are slowly closing in. I know that if i stick to what i truly want ill find a door out of this window-less room.

Its crazy but now a days i realize the only people that keep me company are just a couple special friends and Minus The Bear haha well not only them, its all my music in total...and im happy with this, "Quality Over Quantity" i don't need a hundred friends as long as the friends i have are true, and as long as i got you, i don't need anything else....crazy but true

Today was the same as any other school day, i got a couple comments saying that my shoes looked super comfortable and that they looked like nurse shoes which i took as complements because im really enjoying my new shoes, and i got a new bed...i finally got rid of my 15 year old bed...crazy memories (if you know what i mean) lol jk

I wanted to post my artwork of the album art "On Letting Go" but i don't have a picture of it and its at school so ill leave you with this amazing picture my friend Vero took (she also took the pic of the flower)...I don't have a lot of to say, other than sunsets always leave me speechless and that I'm still thinking of, and waiting for you...who ever that may be haha

Alright i gotta go now and thanks Andrew for all the good old memories

All I Truely Need

Today was pretty kool, I got to hang out with some friends at first and i got a delicious meal at jack in the box :) We were supposed to go to the movies with more friends but we ended up not joining them so we just decided to head to our friend Gaby's house after we stocked up on candy and rented the movie "Nine" (the musical, not Tim Burton) we didn't get far into the movie when me and crystal were picked up, after stopping on Del Taco i arrived home...here i enjoyed a listening session of The Scene Aesthetic and Say Anything...i hadn't heard both in a while

Now I'm here

I realized today that no matter what i do or what i feel as long as I'm with my friends I feel like I fulfilled my goal, No mater what, i feel happy and content as long as I'm with them. And yes i understand that there are things i should do or should have done but to be honest i just wanted to kick back today, especially with people i enjoy being with

Like i said i think i should have done curtain things but just having you there filled me up with all that i needed (yea you)

The picture was taken with my phone during art while we were cleaning the paint cans. The water hitting the cap of it made a really cool effect and it amazed me even though Ive seen it before, idk something about this time was special O_o' maybe I'm just crazy...

Alright I'm out, I'm going to play some guitar and finish the zombie

i gotta stop listening to Look Mexico, they are too good
